The PWR Liquid to Air Barrel Intercooler utilises an internal extruded tube for charge gas which is sandwiched between a complex baffled passage of waterside fins for the coolant to multipass through the barrel. This internal design allows for maximum heat transfer but minimal charge gas pressure drop.
